I wear these as law enforcement walking shoe for unbloused BDU attire,,,EVEN altho I would have preferent the older style with thicker sole area/profile that I couldnt locate online. THIS peculiar later style is a bit thinner in sole profile to my preference. BUT i still like these peculiar style as substitute to standard shoe cost and comfort. As side note, I find that these are VERY magnificent all weather shoes that keep my feet arid when working in moderate to heavy rain/puddles etc. I would not have had that expectation to be competent to trounce in deep puddles and stay arid with this low top sports shoe.
